A farmer from very dry lands of Maharashtra – Sangli district. He has visited almost every agriculture university under reach to learn organic farming and get right indigenous seeds. He has visited so many universities and networked with many organic farmers. As a result today he is a great wealth of information on horticulture as well as agriculture. Even though he is a qualified Pharmacist and bachelor of science in chemicals, interest in agriculture always pulled him to the roots. He maintains a large community farm and grows grapes, sweet lemon, pomegranate, Chikko, bere, pigeon peas etc. He was also exporter of organic fruits. |
